Ministries
The foundation of men’s ministry is building relationships. Without real and deep relationships, men will feel no sense of community. This ministry is the active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word and other men for the purpose of winning, growing and training God’s man in Christ.
The Women’s ministry is to celebrate, inspire and help women grow in their union with Christ and to live out the mystery of godliness as women in God’s Church
Children’s ministry was a priority for Jesus as He made time to minister to them. Statistics reveal that more than half of the people that will believe in Jesus do so by age twelve and by the time a child is nine, their basic moral foundation has been formed. Hence, it is pertinent we teach them about the Savior early. This ministry partners with parents to guide children towards a heart for God.
Our Power Pillars who are youth between the ages 18-24 require guidance and knowledge to help mold them into who God intends for them to be at this crucial stage where they seek answers to the meaning of existence as they navigate this journey of life. Therefore, this ministry seeks to encourage and equip the youth to be strong and prepare to do exploit.
These are young adults between the ages of 25-37. This is the stage for exploits and coordinated action and planning is required to make the most of the time at our disposal so that our young adult may do the work required of them while it is still day
- Oasis (38 and above): Mature singles is for single men and women 38 and above who by virtue of age and experience have weathered more storms in life and now have a more refined outlook of life and as a result, have objectives which may be different from the younger singles. The ministry will help chart these experiences and life events towards growth.
- Binding Thread: Single parents have one of the most challenging aspects of the single life. This ministry exists to assist single parents find fulfillment and create a strong sense of community.
- Wellspring: The Scripture mandates that the widow/widower be cared for. This ministry promotes spiritual growth through what we refer to as gospel drenched compassion (not pity).
These are seniors, sixty and above who have lived a little longer but are certainly not old in spirit. As Psalm 92 confirms, Keenagers continue to bear fruit in old age and still enjoy actively serving God as men and women who have experienced the liberating power of the gospel.
The warriors who stand and keep watch make up this ministry. The enemy will sow tares when men become lukewarm, hence, a powerful and effective prayer ministry is the lifeline of the Church.
The Herald department (Ushers) is responsible for seating parishioners and maintaining order. They help set the tone in preparation for the service.
Praise and worship is a vital part of Church. God inhabits the praises of His people and Shabach Voices see to it that God’s glory fills the temple with shouts of joy, singing and worship in diverse forms and genres.
This ministry is entrusted with the gift of care and help. Care for the underprivileged, for guests and for all parishioners as the need may be.
This department is entrusted with the great commission mandate of reaching the unchurched and unsaved with the simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ and assisting them take root in the Kingdom of our King.
The Eagle’s Arena is the security arm of the Church and they are entrusted with the responsibility of safety of persons and properties, while ensuring order always.
This arm has the oversight responsibility for biblical training and discipleship of both members and the church work force.
